AQIEM Group - "Taman Safari Indonesia" or TSI are several parks in Indonesia. There are safari parks in Bogor at West Java, in Mount Arjuna at East Java, Bali Safari and Marine park at Bali. They are known as Taman Safari I, II dan III. The most popular oneis Taman Safari I. It is located about 80 km from Soekarno-Hatta Airport of 78 km from Bandung.

Taman Safari I has a large area and complete animal collection. It covers an area of 170 hectares. It has a collection of 2,500 animals, including Bengal tigers, Malaysian bears, giraffes, orang utan, hippons, zebras, cheetah, elephants and Komodo dragons. The majority of the species represented ar Indonesia.

Safari park is different from zoo. In a zoo, the animals are in the cage and the visitors walk around the zoo. In Safari park, the visitor are in the cage (a bus or a car), they move around the park. Visitors are encouraged to drive though the park and it is possible to come within close distance to most of the animals.

Taman Safari Indonesia has other point of interest & facilities. The other points of interest are the wildlife  shows. Visitors may enjoy Wild West Show, Dolphin Show adn Elephants Show. Safari park I also has an amusement section, bungalows, and camping sites. Bungalows and camping sites are available fro the guest who wish to sty in the park overnight.

Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII)

Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) or Beautiful Indonesia Miniature Park is the Disneyland of Indonesia with its uniqueness. The recrenational site site is unique, because it presents the diversity of arts, culture and customs of all the provices in Indonesia. In the park, visitors can visit the venues of all the provinces in Indonesia, 11 gardents, 15 museums, religion buildings and other facilities.

Image result for taman mini indonesia indahThe idea of miniature park appeared in a meeting between Mrs. Tien Soeharto and Mr. Soeharto at Cendana Street number 8, Jakarta. It happened on March 13th 1970. The miniature park ws hoped to raise the pride and the love of the country, Indonesia. The construction project began in the 1972. It was firstly opened on April 20th, 1975. The park civers an area of 150 hectares.


The main attraction of TMII is the Venues of the provinces in Indonesia. The venues depict the synopsis of virtual aspects of Indonesia life. The pavilios built as traditional houses and building of all Indonesia. The original design of TMII provides 27 provinces of Indonesia (including East Timor or Timor Leste), but since 2002 the venue of East Timor was closed and used as the moseum of East Timor.

TMII builds a model of each traditional house from all Indonesia province. TMII attemps not only to reconstruct the homes of the various provinces, but also to create a realistic modelof the environment and shelters of the various people of Indonesia. The venues are situated around the main lake.
